The Final Countdown: June

As many people have said to me – it’s the end of an era.

I am back in Wales, I’ve done the bi annual wardrobe clear out and I’ve just found out that I’m graduating in November with a 2:1. When I type it out I always hold the shift button for too long and the 1 almost comes out as an exclamation mark, but in all honesty I’m so excited and relieved that IT’S FINE.

So where next? I’ve received a few offers to do a masters and have decided to stay in the country and go to Cardiff to study Linguistics. Learning a language has opened my eyes to words and how they work and what makes them tick, and although I’m not 100% sure what I want to do yet, I know I want to use my words for a little while longer. I’ve bought a new academic diary and everything.

In the meantime, it’s back to the day job, seeing my friends at home that I’ve lowkey abandoned for months on end, and hopefully I’ll do things worth writing about.

Here’s to the future, I guess.

PS: No I did not feel guilty for lugging my whole wardrobe and half my possessions on the train. It was necessary.
